Best Roofing Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

No one ever likes to hear the word Cancer, unfortunately 1 in 8 (about 12%) women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of their lifetime. Although it is a disease that mainly affects women, in some cases it will also affect men; it is said that 1 in 1,000 men will be affected by breast cancer. Among women breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed besides skin cancer. Creating awareness and getting yearly mammograms will help increase the chances of detecting the cancer early.

At Best Roofing, although we made it a fun day, we created awareness throughout the office by wearing pink and raising funds to donate to the American Cancer Society. With a great turn out, we were able to raise $150.00 for a good cause.
