The story began in the late 1930, under the leadership and mission "Miami Jewish Home for the Aged" was incorporated. The community not only grew to include a nursing home, but also an on-campus hospital, assisted/independent-living facilities, that included on-and off-site activities, beautifully decorated studio, and upscale amenities.
Fast forward to 2018, today the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital center serves 10,000 people annually from Miami-Dade and Broward county. Located conveniently near world-renowned Miami Beach. Best Roofing was awarded the removal of the old roofing system. Miami Jewish Home and Hospital was familiar with Best Roofing work, as we previously worked on other towers prior to this job.
Assessing this job was convenient, because the Irving Cypen Tower had a gated community which made it easy for our dump trucks, cranes, and box trucks to enter the jobsite. The scope of work for both projects was extensive. Our roofing specialists had noticed that this job was going to be messy, not only because this was an active living facility, but the equipment was slightly an issue in the beginning. Once these issues were resolved, our teams were properly equipped and ready to start the roof replacement. The entire roof was vacuumed to remove the gravel roof system. Then the insulation was installed and fastened down to code to continue the rest of the roofing system.
Miami Jewish received a 10-year Material and Labor Warranty and a 5-year Best Roofing Warranty.
