2018 FCA Tailgate

The FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1954. The mission is to present coaches and athletes and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. The Adopt a School Tailgate Party was a fundraising event on February 287th, held at Banyan- in Fort Lauderdale. The evening began with food gathered with friends and colleagues, all to support the youth of the community. University of Miami's Head Coach, Mark Richt, opened with an introduction on behalf of his beliefs, followed by FSU Legendary Coach Bobby Bowden. Coach Bowden delivered an inspirational speech and the audience was captivated by every word. The room was filled with the sense of security for the youth and upcoming generations. From the devastating event that has happened at Marjory Stoneman Douglas that was right here in our community, we all felt this cause was for the betterment of the kids. In addition to the opportunity to sponsor by adopting a school, a silent and live auction was conducted to raise a generous money for FCA.
