SOLITRON

SoliTron is a certified and qualified hybrid circuit manufacturing facility located in the West Palm Beach area. They are known to design and manufacturer high performance, high density and high quality power components and circuitry. Their building is consist of one large roof and two smaller lower roofs.

Best Roofing was contracted to demolish and remove a tremendous amount of abandonment mechanical equipment; which consisted of 4,000 linear feet of cast iron piping and several 20x10 AC units that were outside of code compliance. While cleaning up the old roof system we encountered 5,000 sq ft of corroded metal decking that needed to be replaced. The new installation included a Carlisle TPO membrane and isocyanurate insulation, new metal decking and new internal roof drains. The new system is energy efficient and all mechanical equipment is up to code compliance.

• Challenges: The biggest challenge was working with a clean room environment and having to work on weeknights and weekends in order to not disturb the tenants of the building.
